Hosted by Prof. Dr. Vijayakumar Varadarajan and Dr. Mohan Kumar Gajendran, the ICDFS 2024 is set to explore the critical intersection between digital forensic practices and environmental sustainability. We welcome insightful and innovative papers from researchers, practitioners, and professionals in this evolving field.

We invite submissions on topics including, but not limited to:

  • Sustainable Methods in Digital Forensics: Exploring eco-friendly techniques and practices in the digital forensic domain.
  • Carbon Footprint Reduction in Cybersecurity: Strategies for minimizing environmental impact in cybersecurity operations.
  • Eco-Innovations in Digital Technology: Advances in digital technologies that contribute to environmental sustainability.
  • Managing E-Waste in Digital Forensics: Solutions and strategies for e-waste reduction and recycling.
  • Energy-Efficient Data Processing: Techniques for reducing energy consumption in data analysis and
    processing.
  • Green Digital Forensics: Legal and Ethical Considerations: Exploring the legal and ethical implications of environmentally conscious digital forensics.

    Paper Submission Guidelines:
  1. Paper Title: Provide a clear and descriptive title.
  2. Abstract: Summarize the main focus of your paper in less than 200 words.
  3. Author Information: Include the name, affiliation, and email address of each author.
  4. Content and Scope: Detail how your paper aligns with the conference’s themes, specifying the aspects of digital forensics and sustainability addressed.
  5. Methodology: Describe the research methods, data sources, and analysis techniques used.
  6. Results and Implications: Highlight the key findings and their implications for the field of digital forensics and environmental sustainability.
  7. References: Cite relevant literature and sources.

    Paper Formatting Requirements:
  • Maximum length of 6 pages, single-spaced, in PDF format.
  • Follow the formatting guidelines provided on the ICDFS website.
    Submission Process:
  • Email your paper to the conference’s submission portal, as detailed on the ICDFS 2024 website.

    Evaluation Criteria:
    Papers will be evaluated based on relevance, originality, research depth, practical implications, and
    alignment with the conference’s focus on sustainability.

    Publication Opportunities:
    Accepted papers will be presented at the conference and included in the ICDFS 2024 proceedings.
